John began teaching at Bridges High School in 2008. He has taught in many towns and schools in Colorado, with perhaps the most interesting being in Buena Vista at the correctional facility there. John has a Bachelor's in History from Sonoma State and his Master's degree from Colorado State University. John has expressed the desire to "guide all students to the realization that the world, though complex, is not beyond their understanding."
